Muhle Razor Muhle Shaving Brush

German craftsmanship leading to shaving products of remarkable precision.

Very much in the Niven & Joshua mould, the words "It can't be done" never crossed the lips of Muhle founder O.J. Müller. In 1945, the first Muhle shaving brushes were loaded on to horse-drawn vehicles and shipped to the New World.

His son Hans-Jürgen Müller led Mühle-Pinsel through difficult times, attaining reprivatisation in 1990 and transforming the business into its current guise; despite their increasingly innovative approach, the third generation of Muhle remains true to its heritage. The 'Made in Germany' seal of quality is indicative of the time-honoured craftsmanship and precision required to manufacture the exemplary shaving products. Only a few experts master this profession, which requires traditional tools, a precise eye and dextrous fingers. The same care and attention is devoted to the selection quality of the materials chosen for the handles of the Muhle shaving brushes and safety razors. Metals such as stainless steel and brass require extremely adept processing while special alloys and coatings such as chrome and nickel ensure the beauty, longevity of use and outstanding performance attributes of the razors.
