Bad Breath

Bad breath or halitosis is a relatively common concern but one which is easily curable. Chemical molecules containing odorous sulphur are produced when (good) bacteria in the mouth breaks down protein, in food.

Other causes can include tooth decay, gum disease, smoking, diet and dry mouth - if you believe any of these are a concern then we advise contacting your GP.

Regular and good oral health consists of brushing at least twice a day, ideally after food. Using mouth wash after each brush, flossing and frequent trips to the dentist for check ups.
