They’re also great for improving the absorption of any body moisturiser you might use. If you’re a shower man opt for a body wash containing exfoliating beads or particles. If you prefer baths try an exfoliating bar.
If you’re applying a self-tanner always exfoliate the skin first with a scrub or bar. This will ensure even coverage, allow the self-tan to adhere to the skin and will prevent streaks too.

To protect your skin apply a body moisturiser daily, immediately after a bath or shower, while skin is still slightly damp, and be sure to apply liberally to the arms and legs as these tend to be especially dry.
You can apply a body moisturiser any time (after showering is a must) but the best time is just before turning in for the night. That’s because moisturisers are better absorbed during sleep and when the skin is relaxed and warm.
