A moisturiser provides long-lasting hydration and throughly quenches your skin’s thirst.

Skin type: Dry.

Characterised by: Flakiness and tightness.

Routine: Avoid shaving foams, harsh soap and products containing alcohol - like aftershaves and toners - as these will dry out skin. Instead, use gentle face washes and shaving creams (which are less drying than foams) and lather on a moisturiser twice a day to guard against water loss.

Get rid of any flaky, dry skin with a gentle face scrub twice a week and drink plenty of water to keep skin cells adequately hydrated – if you feel thirsty you’re already dehydrated.
