Specially-scented tablets you can use to freshen up wardrobes, sock drawers, old coats and gym bags. Simply tear off one of the perforated squares (or cut it to a size you like) and place where needed.

I place them in shoes when they’re not in use to keep them smelling fresh and always have one in my wallet too. Try Natural Mystic for a subtle, warm fragrance or opt for Clooney if you want something a little stronger.

Ever gone out straight after work and wished you could have refreshed your clothes? Or brought someone back to your place only to realise you haven't changed your sheets in a while? Well, these handy liquids are the perfect solution.

Whereas some fragrances can damage fabric, these ones have been specially formulated to eliminate odour and provide a refreshing scent without damaging delicate fibres. Compagnie de Provence Fragrance Diffusers

If you’re looking for something to subtly fragrance your home for months at a time then opt for a diffuser. The natural sticks slowly and evenly release the fragrance oils without being overly intrusive. For a sweet and fruity but masculine smell try Fig or for something more bracing try Mediterranean Sea. Or try one of Rituals’ uber-stylish Fragrance Sticks (£14.50). My favourite is Spring Garden which contains an earthy, green note on grassy vetiver.
