Sun Protection Factor (SPF)
Stay protected all day long, with the right SPF.
Sun Protection Factor (SPF) - rules within the UK: you can be in sun for 15 minutes without sunscreen, before burning.
Minutes allowed in the sun: SPF Number x 15. An example; SPF 30 would allow 450 minutes in the sun (7.5 hours).
Fair skin - 10 minutes.
Normal/ Olive skin - 15 minutes.
Dark skin - 20 minutes.
If you swim in the sea or pool and or heavily sweat, then ensure you either reapply or choose a water resistant sunscreen.
For children's skin, we recommend a minimum of SPF 50.
