Protection from the rigours of the slopes.
Hitting the slopes is always a pleasure - fresh air, stunning views and the impending joy of skiing down a mountain. Though with it comes concerns, sufficient sunscreen and adequate skin hydration and or protection with those bitingly low temperatures.
The reflection of the sun on snowy slopes and a higher altitude often results in sunburn. Similarly, cool temperatures and dry, biting winds can rob the skin of moisture. The solution is to wear at least a moisturiser with added SPF and or a sunscreen.
In the evening, when you return to your log cabin hotel after a little apres-ski it is a wise idea to apply a rich or night cream to restore moisture and essential nutrients.
