Babington House

Recently I was lucky enough to spend a few days at Babington House, the luxurious spa retreat in deepest Somerset. If you’re looking for a special weekend away there’s no better place - it's luxurious, the staff are superbly attentive, the food is amazing and the outdoor swimming pool is a true experience. But there’s another benefit too - the Cowshed products that are found in the bedrooms, spa and changing rooms.

Free of parabens, petrochemicals, sulphates, artificial colours and fragrance, the range is also stocked in some of the word’s finest hotels and most exclusive members' clubs and has become a firm favourite of beauty journalists and Grooming Editors like myself.
Part of its appeal is its natural approach to skincare, of course, along with the playfulness of the product names (such as the Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream) but it’s the natural fragrances that I Iove it for.
One of my favourite products from the range is the Bullocks Bracing Body Wash. I used this in my bath each morning during my stay at Babington and it’s the perfect way to start the day thanks to a refreshing burst of sweet orange, geranium and grapefruit essential oils.

I also discovered that it’s a great product for getting rid of chlorine after swimming (no mean feat as any swimmers amongst you will know). If you're interested in trying out the skincare range as well, the Pocket Cow Bullocks kit is a good place to start since it contains four of Cowshed’s most popular products for men.
