Neal's Yard Remedies Calming After-Shave Balm cools, soothes and protects skin. Antiseptic Calendula and Lavender, refreshing Witch Hazel and Nourishing Olive are combined to leave freshly shaved skin feeling smooth and relaxed. A cooling and soothing lotion to help calm the skin and restore its natural moisture balance after the disruption of shaving.

Excellent, does what it claims
07 July 2010I've used this product for over a year, and it works well. I use it after both wet and dry shaves, and in both cases it reduces redness and skin irritation. The product is different to most alternatives in that it's the consistency of olive oil, maybe that's why it is easily absorbed and doesn't make skin feel greasy after use.
Previously I used alternative products from Nivea and Chanel, both of which seemed to sit on the skin rather than being absorbed. There is a light fragance to the product, but not strong enough to change the smell of any conventional aftershave that you might want to wear as well. The only downside is that the nozzle on the bottle clogs up occasionally.
