Made in Germany and built to last; the chrome Merkur Blackhead Remover is a precision made, double looped instrument featuring a non-slip brushed steel grip. The double loop allows whiteheads to be gently rolled out with the thin angled loop (top of picture) and the second, flat loop (base of picture) makes pressing out blackheads simple, safe and hygienic.

Use:

1. Prior to use have a hot, steamy shower to open the pores for easier removal. Alternatively use a hot washcloth or bowl of hot, steaming water. It is advisable to clean your skin prior to use with a good face cleanser.

2. It is important to wait until the whitehead or blackhead has broken open and penetrated the skin or you risk further infection, irritation and potentially some minor scarring.

3. Gently roll the thin angled loop (top of picture) over the whitehead to release debris from the pore. The flat loop (base of picture) is more appropriate for removing stubborn blackheads without damaging the skin. Position the flat loop around the centre of the blackhead or spot and press down gently to extract it.

4. It is important to wash your face after use to remove any debris, leaving pores clean and to give them the best chance of healing quickly.

5. For extra protection apply a toner to close your pores.

6. Clean the Blackhead Remover with soap and water after every use, then towel dry.

Consider: Regular use of a good face cleanser and face scrub will help prevent whiteheads, blackheads and spots by clearing excess oil, dirt and dead skin cells which can cause the aforementioned.
